Moss Covered Wreath Tutorial

Easy
These moss-covered wreaths are easy to make and provide a simple, festive look to your front door. All you need is a round foam wreath form which you can buy at any craft store, craft sheet moss and a few extras to dress it up.
Start by cutting 3 inch strips of the sheet moss. Glue the strips to the foam base with a glue gun and gently but firmly pulling it around the wreath. Secure the other end with more glue. Repeat until the entire wreath is covered.
Then add a pretty ribbon which you can use to hang the wreath. I used a sheer gold ribbon but this project would look great with many different kinds of ribbon. I think burlap, plaid, checked and many different colors would look great. Once the ribbon is attached with a little bit of glue go ahead and adorn the top with whatever strikes your fancy. I used some fresh cedar, pine cones, cinnamon sticks and berries along with a tiny gold ball for the center. Other options are: different florals, fruit slices, wood slices and greenery. How about adding a tiny bird at the bottom of the wreath? Or dangling acorns, bells or pine cones from the top.
