Galvanized Metal Letter Christmas Tree

When I found these galvanized metal words at the craft store, this idea jumped out at me. The letters were telling me to make a tree from the festive words.
Peace Joy Noel - because they were all different sizes, they lent themselves perfectly to making a "tree". All I needed was a star for the top and I happened to have one in my stash of vintage cookie cutters.
To make them a little more festive, I painted every other letter in a bright Christmas red craft paint.
Once the paint was dry, the next step was to add some bling. So I used some glitter glue on each of the painted letters. Two coats was enough to give these letters some Christmas glitz.
Next step was to string them together. I used twine for a rustic feel, but you could use ribbon or bakers twine for a different look. For complete instructions, head over to the blog.
Finish with a star shaped cookie cutter or a bow. Hang it from a cupboard door, shutters or a window to add a touch of vintage Christmas.
