You can seal it with Mod Podge to stiffen it. A few coats of water based polyurethane spray will work.
I took clear contact paper and sealed all the paper items my kids made for me over the years. You can cut to cover each section.
Another option may be RustOleum Never Wet or a spray poly.
you could laminate it
Sprat some clear coat paint on it
You could dip them in liquid wax and let them dry on wax paper.
You could try spraying it with a clear sealer like Krylon.
I would say Modge Podge cause It would make them glossy and somewhat water-resistant, but if you are just using paper, get Aleene's fabric stiffner if you want to make them stiff. If you want to make a paper project really stiff, go for the fabric stiffner. After it is dry, you can use this resin spray or Mod Podge.
Mod podge or you can laminate it.
You can suspend it or prop it up inside an acrylic display cube. I think the Container Store has them or I’m sure Amazon does.
You can buy a small laminator. This is the one I have https://amzn.to/3J7W4XV and I use it all the time!
Hello Pat, hope this helps you out, If you want to preserve your paper snowflakes, there are several simple and effective methods available. One option is to mix 1 part room temperature water, 2 parts cornstarch or flour starch, and 2 parts white glue, then paint your snowflake with the paste and dry. Another option is to dip them in wax or resin, or frame it.
Since it is 3D, you could Mod Podge it and then spray with resin to coat it.
I don't know your plans as far as storage of it, or how big it is, a square lantern container would work. Or if you are going to lay it flat a picture frame with glass would protect it too.
I made some too and hung them up high to keep them safe. I don't think there is anything you can spray on it to preserve it if it is paper.
