Use a Bradle to make a hole as a starter or maybe use a hammer with a magnetic end. Best wishes.
Panel Pins are fine gauge nails used in delicate woodworking jobs, as they are not likely to split the materials they are going into. They are commonly used in cabinet making and when installing millwork trim.
If you find that your fingers are too large for holding the 'pins', you can try using a tweezers to grip them in place during the first couple of knocks with the hammer.
