This handmade macrame vase will definitely give that boho beachy vibe to your indoor or outdoor space. I am sure that you will like it with fresh flowers, dried flowers, or anything you choose.

If you use a round shaped glass rather than a jar you may also use it as a candleholder.

Cut out 12 pieces of cotton rope, the length will vary based on the size of the glass jar.

Secure one end with some tape.

Make 4 groups, each having 3 strands.

1- Start the braid from the left side. Bring the second group over the first group,

2- Bring the first group over the third

…and under the fourth.

3- Repeat these steps

your beautiful thick macrame braid will be at your hands soon.

I used hot glue for this craft, you may also sew it.

Glue the ends of the braid.

Attach the braid to the glass vase with hot glue.

If you are using a mason jar, you may make a thin regular braid for the neck.

you may make it even fancier with some tassels.

I would be so happy to hear your opininons about this craft. Do you like it, would you give it a try?

You showed the pretty front of the finished jar, but neglected to show the back where you attached the rope. That's the important part. What does that look like? How did you manage to wrangle all those ends to look professional?

I would love to do this but the instructions are confusing to me. So after you went under the fourth set of 3 you just said repeat steps. But I don't know which one to repeat steps with. Like, which set do you go repeat the steps with?

I'm sure this textured vase would cost a lot more in a fancy shop than what you paid for the materials to create it. 👍️
