I'm bring the 70's back with my hanging boho planter and couldn't be more excited about it. I was going through some Easter decorations when I found this plastic planter and knew it would be perfect for making a hanging planter.

You want two pieces of nylon twine for hanging the planter. Decide how long you want your planter to hang and cut your twine to length.

Run the two pieces of twine through the bottom of your planter.

Turn the planter over and secure the twine with a drop of hot glue under each piece.

Tie a knot at the end of your twine.

Starting at the bottom of your planter, use your hot glue gun to start adding your trim.

Continue adding glue in small sections and wrap the trim up the planter until you get to the top.

Make a large tassel with chunky yarn and pom poms.

Tie the tassel to the bottom of your planter.

Glue the pom poms to the planter.

How cute is this?? I totally love it!

Now you can place a fake or real plant (we don't judge) in the hanging planter and you have a great new piece of home dƩcor!

I have more fun and colorful planter ideas on the blog if you are still looking for ideas!
