How to hang skis on the wall?

Question

I have a pair of cross country skis I want to attach to our wall. Not sure how to do this, didn't really want to drill a hole thru them. Any ideas? They aren't antiques, so if I have to drill I would but just not sure how to attach them to my wall. Thanks!

I use clear 10 pound test fishing line to hang a lot of things. Can't be seen. Just tie it around the skis where you need the support and hang from regular nails.

Find some small brackets and make shelves.

You could easily hang them by using an old leather belt screwed into the wall to hold them up...that way you don't damage the skis and you could even take them off the wall and use them! Go to a thrift store and find a belt that matches or contrasts with the color of your skis for an inexpensive piece of art!

We have antique skis as well on our great room wall above the fireplace.  We tacked 1 picture hanger on each ski and hung on nails.  They are hung vertically with points up and staggered so they look natural.  Picture isn't great, but you get the idea.
