How to DIY a Candy wreath from the 60s?

i remember making this with hard candy and ribbion but cant think how to get it together

Here's one that uses a coat hanger to make the wreath shape, then the ribbon & the candy. Hope that helps & Happy Holidays! -

I can remember my Mom using the wire frames, you can get from either craft stores like JoAnns, Hobby Lobby or Michaels then a piece of ribbon on each piece of wrapped candy and attach it to the wire frame. Does sound familiar to you, Linda? -
