Perhaps just rearranging them from time to time as you add newer ones will help. Also, if the frames are of different sizes and colors, you might try painting the frames all in the same color to unify the design. Decorators often cut out the sizes of the frames they are going to group together using newspaper or wrapping paper and lay out the design on a floor or rug and adjust the "samples" until they get an appealing design, then copy it with the actual frames on the wall. Saves lots of nail holes and frustration.
Matching frames are a good idea, often on sale at T.J. Maxx and Marshall's.
How do you have them now? Can you post a few pictures of what you've already done? Off of the top of my head, you could get different frames to add some interest. Arrange the frames in the shape of a heart or other design. Get shelves and put pictures and something special from each child.
Hi Brenda, you could merge them all into a collage with one big frame to accommodate all of them as opposed to a ton of small individual frames.
How about making some picture ledges. Perfect for a hall and photos can easily be changed out. Not a bunch of holes, hangers. or brackets.
