How do you hang a very heavy piece of wood?
I have a 2x4 very heavy piece of wood with a poem written on it. I want to hang it on my porch but the walls are vinyl siding and the panels are vertical. Does anyone have a suggestion as how to hang this w/o putting nails, etc. into the wall? Thank you!

Does your porch have a ceiling? Perhaps you could drop chains/rope from eye hooks in the ceiling...? You could also place it on an easel....or a small bookcase...
You could "plant" it in a big, pretty flower pot. Seems like most are just leaned up against the wall of the porch.

Hi Billy and Patty Ann. I'm Cindy. A couple weeks ago I walked thru my local Habitat for Humanity Store and found heavy duty hooks made to hang things on siding. They are called Outdoor decor Vinyl Siding Hooks. There are two per package and cost $3. I have not used them yet, but I am sorry that I purchased only one package. Hope this helps.
