How to “hide” a dryer vent?
I have 6 feet of an aluminum exposed Dryer vent. I’d like to enclose it with something paintable. I don’t have access to cutting plywood and the home stores are currently not cutting due to COVID-19. Can you think of something else that might work?

That's quit long. Make sure it is a straight run to outside so it doesn't get clogged up and start a fire. Keep it accessible to you can do routine clean out. As for covering it up so it's not an eye sour. You can always spray paint it the color it is against so it dissapears or box it in with cardboard and tape then paint that.
Seek a proper lumber yard in your area. Or seek out a sheet metal worker to help you out.
Patty: Paint it with heat-resistant paint ...maybe the color of your wall.
Your Vents Should Be Hiding in Plain Sight

I would paint it same color as walls/ceiling. You want access to it.
Just put your dryer vent behind the dryer. Do not encase it. You do not want a fire or a clog. Your vents should be cleaned at least every 6 months and you need access to it.
