If you go to a lumber yard they will measure out pieces for you to put together yourself or go to Michael's Craft Store framing department.

Why would you want to? Many people hang the canvas' just as they are : )

How? It has no way to hang them and they would roll up.

If you go to Hobby Lobby or to Michaels, they have a framing section in which you can buy the part sizes you need.

If you like a rustic look you can make one from pallet wood.

Got to the lumber yard and get some wood. Most of the time if you give them the size they would measure it out for you and them you have to put it together or you can just go to a framing place like Michael's and have one done for you.

making a frame is not for an amateur. You can find lots of framed things at goodwill etc and try to find one suitable in size and style for your art. Or you can hang it unframed. Kind of sophisticated! I see from Leslies previous comments that her oils are on canvas cloth, not canvas board. in that case the painting would have to be placed on a board. Neither of these jobs are for an amateur. I suggest Leslie go to a frame shop and pick their brains. A canvas should not be covered with glass. Now if they were acrylic or water colors that would be a different story!
