Do you have a skill you can teach others? Sewing lessons, piano lessons, cooking lessons? Work from home computer jobs are highly coveted, but they are out there. There are legitimate wegsite/job boards out there, I am just not familiar with any of them. Do not pay money to get a job, those are typically pyramid shemes.
Forgot two more, home organizer/declutter professional, yard-sale organizer.
Babysitting, personal shopper
Some people write, some edit books, some give home work advice on educational sites; but for all these you need a computer and the internet
You could also look at the direct sales industry. Companies like Tupperware & Avon have been around for years. There is a start-up cost, but that's not the same as paying for a job. As an Independent rep for one of these companies, it's you own business and there are costs to start up any business. A lot of the newer companies (and some of the ones that have been around a long time too) do a lot of their work on Facebook with virtual parties where people can pop in or out over a period of time after a live event. The younger crowd goes to these events more than home parties. (Heck, I like shopping from home too - and I'm not part of the younger crowd. LOL) I like to support my friends who own their own business and help them work toward their goal by buying their products.
