TGIF! Join me for today's project, up-cycling an old table lamp using chalk paint, then using embroidery to dress up the shade. I take you step by step through the chalk painting and the different embroidery stitches.
I had an old lamp from my daughter's room that she grew out of, but it was from Pottery Barn, so it was expensive. I decided to refresh it to match the guest room at our lake cottage using a little chalk paint, a new shade, and embroidery stitches to decorate the shade with embellishments.
