Your coffee table must be lightweight, too. Can you put something heavy at each end of the table? That might help. We use a webbed rubber-like liner under ours, on top of the carpet. But some rugs have legs and they just have to crawl. Best wishes šHelpful Reply -

Wow. You could try to stick on pads or Velcro on the bottom of the table legs. If that doesnt work, try a different rug or even a big towel and see if it does the same thing. I think it's impossible to stop it crawling if it has a rubber backing. I had the same problem and gave up. Bought a different rug without rubber back.Helpful Reply -
