Honestly I have never run across anyone that likes them, many times it is number one on the list to update. You will probably get more for your house by doing it. In my opinion, worth the time, effort and money.
Hi there, I would say just wait and see when the time comes.
I wish you lived near me!
Who ever came up with popcorn ceilings had to be a man with no taste!.it's never coming back. More then likely having it on decreases the value. And its a lot of work and time taking it off.
Hello,
It is a big mess to remove, we have done several in the past. Now we would just cover it with styrofoam squares, do a planked ceiling or just have it sheetrocked over the top and finished.
I would leave it and let the new owner decide if they like it or not. Just because some think it is out of style some others may really like it as it covers up a lot of the bumps and small imperfections. Generally when it is installed it is blown on so the contractor does not have to do a perfect job with the seams. If they don't like it they can put a new layer of drywall over it.
