How can I use glass beads in epoxy resin for a table top?




Has anyone tried using glass beads in epoxy resin for a table top? How did it turn out? Was it harder to do? What amount did you use?

Hi, Jody. I haven’t done one, but I’ve seen lots of pictures of tabletops with flat glass marbles. The glass is usually set in cement first, then epoxy is poured on top, sometimes in two layers. Good luck. ☺️
I was thinking more of the tiny glass beads that are used on highway marker lines. Its almost like crushed glass and very reflective. Usually for crafting you would paint and then sprinkle it on top to coat the wet paint and then shake off excess
Hi Jody....sort of the same concept as Jewell was explaining, except you would need to have a table with a rim around edges.....here is a tutorial using bottle caps. Looks awesome!
