Sorry to hear about your mother and hope she recovers quickly. Tell the landlord what has happened and ask him if he can fix them for you, because if you do anything, he could accuse you of doing damage to the floor, even if improves matters. If he tells you to do it, then ask if you could have it in writing to protect you in the future.
Oh No! Let your landlord know. Technically they are responsible for her care, and will be covered by the landlords insurance. The landlord should fix for you, if they let you make the repair, get it in writing so as to not void your lease or rental agreement. Can you post a photo so we can see what you have to work with and make reliable suggestions on how to fix. Hope your mom is doing better! Wishing her a speedy recovery. 🤗
