Enough to cover 336 square feet of floor ( 14x24=336 ) so it will take 9 4'' pieces to make a sq. ft. 9x336=3024 pieces of 4'' flooring to cover that space...do not know how many pieces are in a box....SOOOO !

Hi Cheyenne, boxes of flooring always have total square footage on them. To get the square footage of your space just take your first number and multiply it with your second. 14 times 24 is 336 square feet. When you go to buy your boxes make sure and get more than you need just in case.

There is no basic rule of thumb because different types of flooring have different amounts in the box. The boxes will, however, tell you how many square feet are in the box, then you buy according to how many square feet you are covering, plus 10% for waste due to cutoffs at the walls. BTW...you have 336 square feet. In case you’re not sure how to figure square feet, you multiply length times width. In your case, 14’ x 24’ = 336.

Cheyenne,. Take your measurements to Home Depot, and they'll tell you how much you'll need. Make sure the lot #s on the boxes are the same, and get one extra, for future repair or mistake.
