How to quiet our new floating bamboo floor?
our black floating bamboo floor has the best underlayment, but squicks and crackles and pops.so annoying, and sounds cheap. help!!

It is not supposed to. Sounds like a less than perfect installation. Go back to the store and complain. See if these help?

We have installed bamboo flooring in our home, but chose to permanently "nail" it in - we used "L" cleats. We have a large home that moves and were absolutely not going for the "floating floor" - we were afraid of exactly what you are asking about and also afraid of separation. If you laid the flooring yourselves and can prove you followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter, you may have a leg to stand on. If you used a professional flooring installer, I'd contact them and make them aware of the problem.
