Mariah, it's kind of difficult to tell what's happening with the floor, but there is self-leveling compound that will float out and level an uneven floor. It is sold wherever floor coverings are sold

You can purchase floor leveler from hardware stores. It starts to set quickly so be ready to work when you get it mixed.

I forgot to say that is about 6 inches deep and about 14’ x 13’ self leveling will be to expensive

The pic needs to be at a better angle to really see the issue. 14' X 13' X 6"... Ah, well then... what I would do is fill in the space and top it. Now, you could go with a bunch of 2X4 joists, ties, and some plywood for the floor. Or, maybe use the smaller concrete blocks (are they 6"???) set them in the space and use some thin-set over that. Hope you get some other ideas and choose what fits best for you.

I don't know where anyone got the idea that the difference in floor level is so huge or so deep. I don't see that there's a 6" height difference. Mariah - can you give us a better idea of the dimensions you have to deal with?

Self leveling floor concrete mix is not meant for overly large areas nor should it be too thick or it will merely crack apart. To me, it looks like the depth is that of the tiles next to the concrete. If that's the case, you can purchase tiles the same thickness, lay them down and grout. Then you've got a level floor to work with as far as replacing the carpet.

Please give area size/depth and any other "givens". What's your plan once level?
