What flower (perennials) can I plant in a full sun garden?

My front garden faces south. I get all day sun which goes into about 5PM est. time. What flower (perinnels) I hope that Ican plant in this are. Thank you

Hi Barbara, I have the same issue. I've found that visiting the local nursery is best. They carry perennials that do well in our area and in full sun. I've had success with day lilies and black eyed Susans, but I don't know what area you're in.
all you need to do is go to your local garden shop and let them show you perennials that will bloom in the sun-try to get plants that help the bees

What zone are you in? It does make a difference. Roses will do well.

Lavender, sages, thymes, artemesias, coreopsis, yarrow, phlox, dianthus, sedums, iberis, iris, gladiolas (the very old varities are perennials), roses, day lilies, some hydrangeas, coneflowers, butterfly bushes, butterfly weed, etc.
