Hi Jeanne. Did you want to cut them back? After mine have bloomed I cut them back.
You can either cut them back or just leave them alone. The leaves will just dry up and disintegrate. My dried up tulip leaves get hidden by other plants as they grow as I have other things planted int he area where I have my tulips.
leave them alone for now.Once the foliage is completely brown you can trim it.Remember bulbs feed from foliage
Leave the bulbs in the ground. Allow the foliage to die off naturally . Do no remove until it falls away without pulling, as it is feeding the bulb. You can bend the foliage over and put a rubber band on it, or tie it.If you are lucky they will make more bulbs!
I would check w/your local cooperative extension office, a local green house/nursery or a local plant society for advice. Up here in the northeast (NY/PA area) we leave our daffodils & tulip bulbs in the ground all year. As I had found when I lived in FL, gardening in (Tallahassee) Florida is very different than in the Northeast. Your ground gets quite warm, & daffodils being a fall planting/cold bulb need some periods of cold. I had never tried growing tulips & daffodils when I lived in FL. because I felt that ground temps never got cold enough for them. (Grew up in snow belt, an hour from Buffalo, so I knew cold). Hope this is helpful. Happy gardening.
