What is the best way to store tulip bulbs?

    Once they're dry and "dirt" free, just wrap them in newspaper and put them inside a mesh bag in a dark, dry spot and they'll be good for next season

    clean, allow them to dry, place in a paper bag in a cool dark location

    Leave them in the soil until fall so they can build the bulb back after blooming. (water etc, bone meal for food). Store in dark, cool, dry place in winter if your area will not allow you to plant them in the soil for winter.
