Hi, Well it depends where you live. I live in Texas the North part and I prune mine back in late Sept. or middle of Oct. In Missouri where I'm from in the Southwest part. It is middle of Sept. they come back , fuller, bigger plants and beautiful as well. Hope this was helpful for you. -

Roses regardless of location should be pruned in the late winter or early spring when they are dormant -
