That is wonderful! It has been such a warm winter here that my fig trees are showing signs of sprouting new leaves. My potted lemons are going crazy too. 70 something today . . .Helpful Reply -

Those are winter crops. I always play them in October , my winter gardens are very large,,usually. After the summer heat its nice gardening in cooler weather.Helpful Reply -

I'm in northern NJ and its been cold and its snowing now but I have been putting in kale in September--looks ratty during the winter but survives and has a great start in the spring. Some members of this family of veg will work for this.Helpful Reply -
