Can anyone help me identify this plant?

I have this growing all over my flower bed and I have no idea what it is. I would hate to destroy if it turned out to be something I would want.

It looks very much like a night blooming jasmine. If any of your neighbors have this plant in their yards, chances are it is. These plants are vigorous self-seeders and spread everywhere. If pods develop at the top of the plant, it's a jasmine. They will start to bloom in May and continue throughout the fall. Blooms appear at dusk and drop off by mid-afternoon the next day. The blooms are pretty, and attract bees and humming birds. But it is an invasive plant and hard to get rid of once it gets established.

Night blooming jasmine doesn't look like this from the pictures I looked up on the internet. I guess I will wait till it flowers to see if I can id it then. Thanks though.

Oenothera biennis/common name Evening Primrose. It can be weedy but the Hummingbirds love it:-). Here is a link that might be useful: https://extension.umass.edu/landscape/weeds/oenothera-biennis

You are welcome! If you want to keep it just make sure to remove the seed pods before they open otherwise you will have a lot more:-))

I think it is evening primrose which is amazing to watch when it is blooming. The blooms will open in just a very few minutes from a completely closed bloom to a fully opened yellow bloom. The next afternoon, deadhead all the spent blooms and it will continue to bloom for days. Northeast Tennessee
