I planted a cuc which died and I assume birds brought a seed. Annual or perennial? It is about 1 1/2 feet wide w hot pink flowers and yellow centers. I did throw in zinnia, marigold seeds there, etc but none took.
Take a sample to your local garden center they may be able to help

Figaro Mix Dahlias. From the look of the leaves and flowers. When done blooming dig up the tuber and replant in the Spring.

Based on the leaves, appears to be a type of dahlia.
It is a perennial, Dahlia.
It does look to be a small dahlia, which is grown from bulbs which need to be dug in the fall in colder areas.
I googled perennials and there is a species Threadleaf coreopsis that is very similar - i looked at lots of images
