Help identify this plant

I bought this plant at a California Native nursery but it was mislabeled. It was supposed to be an island alumroot or Heuchera Maxima but it clearly is not. It is a very pretty little thing but it has spread all over my garden so I'm beginning to worry that it may be invasive. I haven't tried to remove it yet but I'd like to be sure that it is a California native before I decide to allow it to spread further.

For ID purposes, notice especially the disk shaped seed pods with five to six seeds in each one. This plant is dormant in winter, flowers in early spring then goes to seed. This is the only one that is already going to seed, usually that happens later in the season.
