How can a Red Japanese Maple be saved? Leaves did not grow after I ha
Had several branches cut last Fall and leaves failed to grow past the cut line.

Best guess is that it was pruned improperly. Next time hire a proper arborist or tree surgeon. Here is a link to help you out! Tree will be OK, will just look a bit bare in spots for a season or two.https://m.wikihow.com/Prune-Japanese-Maple-Trees -

When you cut of branches or parts of branches, you are telling the tree you don'twant it to grow that way, so it will find another way to grow.
