How do I store and prepare seeds from this year's flower crop?
I have seeds from flowers that have recently died. What is the best way to dry and store these and when should I plant them again? They are from Cone flower centers.

I have an Aero grow garden that uses cigar shaped peat pods to start seeds in. I was wondering if anyone knows how to their own pods?
Use paper bags (seeds can spoil in plastic) to collect. Spread them out to dry for about a week. Then store in paper bags or envelops over the winter. Keep them cool and dry. Good luck!

Paper bags or envelopes are just perfect, be sure to label them.
Store seeds in ziplock bags.
Depending on the amount of seeds you have, used envelopes, empty (cleaned) tablet bottles, small glass jars. Store them in a cool dry place, until the spring when the chance of frost has past. If you want to start them early, in April or May, bring out the seed and sprout them on damp sheets of paper toweling. For larger seeds, you could soak them for one day and then use the toweling. Transfer to seed pots ( used egg cartons can be used as a starter pot). GOOD luck!!!
