I live in Ohio. When should Rose of Sharon bushes be trimmed?

Hi Peg I live in WV I do mine in the fall. . When it has stop blooming and temperature drop. .mine has got huge this year with all the rain. .
Mine is white. .happy pruning. .

Hi Peg,
You can actually trim a Rose of Sharon bush in the fall, winter or early spring before the buds start to form. I found this article for you that will give you more information and some tips. Wishing you successful gardening. :)

You can "trim" aka deadhead all through the blooming season. "Pruning" should be done in late winter.
