Need privacy shrub/tree.

I would like something that is evergreen and is dense. I want something that flowers. It only gets late afternoon sun, some filtered light through trees during the day. I am in zone 7. It will go in front of my neighbors fence along the tree line.

I have a Nelly Stevens holly that gets about 15' x 10' wide. It has small white blooms in spring and red berries. Birds enjoy the cover. Another is the mountain ash tree. I wish I had one. Google the pictures. Large native azaleas get large as do some rhododentrons. How much evening sun you get could be a problem. Also consider a camillia. Hope this helps.
Too bad you want flowers.... I am also in zone 7 (East Tennessee) and planted Leyland Cypress as a wind block/screencover. Evergreen year round and grows fast - will have a "wall" in about 4-5 years
Holly bushes,Indian hawthorne, privet(last 2 tend to spread tho

I think a Lorapetalum may be a very good selection to fit the conditions & requirements in your location.
Why not plant flowering shrubs or annuals in front of the evergreens. Most evergreens don't flower...
