In our region in the Philippines, it is locally known as "maritana" and local folks use it to reduce swelling of the skin due to insect bites and even for toohaches. It is like a succulent with thick leaves. The leaf is pounded slightly and applied to affected area.

@Anna Go to Facebook and join the Plant Identification group; they have actual botanists who are fabulous at identifying any kind of mystery plant. (I'm a Master Gardener volunteer, and despite being a Certified Plant Professional, I use the Plant ID group all the time.)

I has leaves like a Swedish Ivey but if you look it has a pretty long stalk and doesn't seem to flow over. Maybe there is a separate group of Swedish Ivey that grow like this. I loved mine all draped down the side of its hanging pot. I had forgotten about them. Thanks for reminding me. 👍🏻

@Desmith Leaf of Life makes so much sense! Growing up in So Fla; we had lots of plants that looked just like the one shown. They were unique in that the scalloped edges would sprout new plants. If a leaf fell to the ground (or if I pulled a leaf off and took it inside the house) mom would pin the leaf up on a curtain and we would watch the tiny plants start. Then I had to take it back outside and "free" it in the hedge ! I never knew the name of the plant nor about its medicinal properties. Love it.
