Most succulents prefer full sun.
Sure,you should be able to.
Place on the north side of your property. The sun in Las Vegas is intense and will burn the plants. Anyone that has not experienced 100°+ in a hot, dusty, extremely dry, single digit humidity climate has no idea what it will do to plants. Check daily and watch for signs of shriveling, you will need to water a bit more often than those in other locations. Once established they will thrive and you will have a great little garden of wonderful plants. If you run into any difficulties, post photos and we are here to help.
Shade, and more shade...not direct sun....more watering...and IF still scorching GET THEM INDOORS.... In our area (Z.9) they mostly need LIGHT, not sit in the hot sun.....Maybe under a tree??? Cactus do better under hot sun....JMO
