Swiss Cheese Plant is a common name given to a tropical large-leaved green plant usually grown indoors ... if you experience Winter. I believe it's a member of the Philodendron family and has very large leaves with holes in the leaves resembling Swiss Cheese. I can't recall the first part of its botanical name but the last word is "Monstera" ... due to its large "monster-like" leaves. I love the plant, it's easy to grow, has glossy green leaves but its leaves spread in an outwardly fashion, therefore, it needs a lot of room and I just don't have an area to keep one.Helpful Reply -

PS: I forgot to mention that it is also called: Split Leaf Philodendron. However, some botanists say the plant is not a member of the Philodendron family. Whatever the argument ... it is a beautiful, lush houseplant!! :)Helpful Reply -
