Almost all will help clean the air, some are just better than others. Get a moisture meter, a good investment to keep houseplants happy and healthy by not over or under watering. remember to fertilize, some plants will require it more frequently, look up each plant to make sure you have them in the correct light, sometimes the directions that come with the plant aren't that correct, and they may be able to be in lower light conditions. My local Home Depot always has really nice houseplants, but they all are in the bright light section, but a lot of them will do better in an east window than in a south window where the light is brighter.
