The Thanksgiving cactus (Schlumbergera truncata), the Christmas cactus(Schlumbergera bridgesii), and the Easter cactus (Rhipsalidopsis gaetneri) all look alike. ... Smith says the main difference between the Christmas andThanksgiving cactus, and the Easter cactus is the time of bloom.Thanksgiving Cactus, Christmas Cactus, Easter Cactus: What'sweb.extension.illinois.edu/state/newsdetail.cfm?NewsID=8570Helpful Reply -

The Thanksgiving cactus blooms a little earlier than the Christmas cactus, so, that is really the "main" difference. However the shape of the leaves are also a little different. The Christmas cactus has more rounded leaves as well. Check out this site: https://laidbackgardener.blog/tag/differences-between-christmas-and-thanksgiving-cactus/Helpful Reply -

You can water a "good soaking" once a week... where it will come out the bottom of the pot a little... it's it's in sunny spot that is warm perhaps a little more from time to time. The are cactus, so they prefer to be on the side of dry than wet all the time. If they are wet often, they can get root rot.The plant will train you! ;-)Helpful Reply -
