. I am totally confused as looking up on the internet for several links, They all said the require alot of water. I have had people
say no too much water is the result of the droopy leaves. I never over watered, just
basically misting the top soil or giving just a small amount of water. Very little.
I removed them from the cheap soil I got and repotted them in good Miracle grow
recommended by the nursery. How long does it take for them to recover. I didn't
water for several hours after the transplant and then just slightly misted the top soil. Any help will be greatly appreciated. one was even flowering. Flower still looks good.
Thanks Penne

To grow zebra plants to perfection, they need to be planted in highly organic, extremely well drained soil. The potting medium must never be allowed to dry out completely. Those that have allowed their zebra plants to wilt a time or two knows the results. The lower leavers fall off and the plant takes the shape of a miniature palm tree.

After the bloom fades, the spike should be removed and the plant relocated to a warm, bright location. In the summer, they can be moved to the shaded patio. Given routine fertilization and care, they should bloom again come fall.

Thank you for your link. I still can't get a straight answer to the watering. Too much not enough. ??????? All articles say the same thing. I replanted mine in

perilite and pete moss soil Miracle Grow and let them get used to the soil

for at least 8 hours, then I just misted the top of the soil. Still waiting for them

to perk up. If they don't I will just take the stalk and put it in water as I have

read to grow roots and replant them for next spring. I life in Southern Calif. and my area is humid and they are in a filtered bright area . I have skylights which

make for always bright light for them and not directly on them. Just determined to make these beautiful plants work for me. Thanks again for you help
