Boy, I'd give the door a coat of red to accent it and make it look inviting. If you want to replace the hardware, I'd do an antique bronze.

I'd also redo the house numbers- it kinda fades into the house, and the curly- cues don't go with your house style.

Why not try a tangerine to really draw the eye to the entrance

what stunning house!! I see what your needing, your front door need that wow factor to give it that inviting look. I wood go with terra-cotta painted doors with bronze hardware and those can be spray painted. I would have a hanging above light and half dome rug in terra cotta color and tall terra cotta pots with coral impatien flowers. The the window to the right facing the house place a window box in terra cotta Or 3- large terra cotta pots centered under that window. im up loading photos and I hope you enjoy my ideas😊💡

Hello Rene; If your home were mine, I would think about my favorite colors.

I would visit several stores, and I would get paint chips, in all of the colors that I am interested in.

I would decide what paint chips that I Love and go from there.

I love these colors together. Beautiful house. Some things to consider You can try using some cheap tricks first like for example: use construction paper sheets in each color varity pack put in each pane square and then go out side where you took the picture of the door and see what color stands out to you, then find something in that color range from the paint store.

Another example you could also think about the entrance surrounding the door that part of the house color changing it to a bold color and doing your door in another complementing color, or vice versa. I say do a color you like paint is always cheaper than changing doors. Is the window pane trim in between the glass? if not that could also be considered as a second or third color as well. brighter colors will show better due to the shadow cast in the entrance to your door, so darker colors will only recede unless you surround the doorway with a bright white, then the door will pop. Oh and don't be afraid of Bright Yellow , Aquamarine, or Pink.

I would paint the door and window surround the gray of the buildingl Then I would paint the door either red, blue or even a limey green. New hardware, I would take a close up picture of you set, and from the side of the open door and take to your home store to pick a new one.

Paint the doors red

Install a piece of crown molding on the top, cut at an angle on the ends, paint a dark color, Navy?

Before doing anything, I'd remove the tired manicured bushes from the walkway leading to the door and either use flowering plants in pots or replant the beds with casual flowering plants. This itself will "open up" the entry. Next I'd be certain my paint is the right one for the lintel over the entryway and paint both the face and underneath. Personally, I'd paint the wall areas of the entry bright white and the door a real "pop" of color like emerald green, yellow, teal, or similar.

Your home is very stately and classy, it looks to me like the home is smooth stucco, from your photos....our home is a trowled on stucco in almost the same color as yours along with the lighter trim. Our front door is black and stands out beautifully against the colors...we have black lights as well...if you are not amenable to black for your front door, would you consider a bronze brown? It is a combo of black and brown and makes a subtle statement with the rest of your home...I would also remove those clay pots and those wide ferns and get a couple of bronze brown lightweight pots and maybe plant something called Sky Pencil Hollies in those pots...they will have a vertical classy look and won't take up much lateral space to your entryway...I have a couple of those on one side of my bay windows and they look very nice and are easy to keep trimmed & will not get messy....I wish I could see your beautiful home in person...best of luck!
