I half agree with the above, but prefer larger/versatile pieces, just fewer of them. Fun artwork draws the eye, lightweight/filmy curtains like batiste to soften the walls.

    Paint walls light colors.

Remove closet doors that open into a room.

Drape your windows in a way that allows for maximum light

Choose simple furniture. A small couch can make the room look larger

Try huggable hangers, they're thinner and can store more clothing

Simple bedding & use the space under your bed for storage

I do too. I've tried just about everything as I think mirrors look dated. Light gray on selected walls have some ambience to all over white walls. I refreshed the white walls with the brightest white paint in eggshell I could find. The eggshell has a bit of a reflective effect. Next UNCLUTTER, UNCLUTTER. Minimum chachkis. No more than 3 items on a surface. These things worked for me. Good luck.

Wow, that is small. The right furniture is a must! Fold down table? Chairs to be used for duel purpose...sitting and at table for eating? Keep clutter to a minimum and think "up" for storage. A shelf above the doors and windows will allow for storage bins to be used for seldom used objects. Bed can be a day bed which can also serve as seating.
