Tips for a kitchen table in a small space?

I have a very small kitchen space to eat. Would anyone know how to make A portable table that when not in use could be brought down flush with the wall only to be used for meals and then put down if you know what I mean

    Piano hinge. Board underneath to prop it open. You can also eat in front of your tv!

    This small table can be let down. The support is fastened to the back plate with a piano hinge and there is another piano hinge on the table itself, so if we swing the support to the left then the table top falls down. What remains on the wall is a piece about 4" deep by the width of the table. This works just great and has for many years. I found it at our town swap shop so it was free.

    There are also hardware kits that lock the table up and it has a release trigger to drop it back down. That's how my drop down table is made.
