Can I install glass subway tiles over a granite backsplash?

Not a general practice, but it can be done. Make sure the back splash is clean and flat. Roughen the surface with some 120 grit sandpaper. Just to remove some of the shine. Clean again. Its all about prepping your surface you need to do is break the surface (scratches) of the granite so that the tile can adhere. Good luck!!!Helpful Reply -

I've decided to leave the backsplash alone because once the cabinets were painted, everything is just lighter and looks nice and clean. I just saved some money which I can reuse doing something else.Helpful Reply -
