You must know there are hundreds of combinations and possibilities. I like at least the uppers to be light colors so the kitchen seems larger. Get the best quality countertops you can afford. Use one of your favorite colors for kitchen accessories, from canisters to flower pots. ☺️

One trend that’s current is painting your top cabinets in a lighter color than your bottom cabinets. It breaks up the “wall” look of one color and gives a kitchen some interest. If you are really indecisive, a safe bet is to stick to neutral colors like grays and beiges. You can also try to match or complement colors already in your kitchen space, like appliance colors, tile or backsplash colors, walls or floors.

Some folks like a light tan color, and other folks like a dark cupboard. Just look in a hardware store, and this will give you lots of ideas, to choose from. They may have samples that you can take home, and put on your cupboards, just to see which one would look good in your home. This may also depend on if you have windows, in your kitchen for the windows, will lighten the wood. Best wishes, J.
