Why I love mine ;maybe add gray cabinets and make walls a muted yellow shade, yellow kitchens are timeless and why be a trend follower unless you are ready for change.
You don't have to give it up but you could incorporate other trendy colors. My first thoughts are grey or teal. Here's an article that might help:

Enjoy your sunny yellow kitchen. There are only a couple of reasons to neutralize colors you love.
Resale. Are you putting your home on the market?
Compromise. Is there a full time resident, (someone you love and adore) who needs a change?
Why give it up? Is there a reason? Your house, keep what makes you happy.
Oh, keep the yellow! If you like it and enjoy the happy sunniness of it, that's all that matters. I'd love to paint mine yellow!
I love yellow kitchens. They seem so happy!
Hi Dotty,
