Rustoleum and Gianni both offer countertop restoration kits
You can have it replaced with either laminate or granite without disturbing any tiles.
Rustoleum makes a kit to paint your countertop.
There is also an epoxy system that will totally transform your counters.
Peel and Stick vinyl tiles could make your counters look new as well.
And If you like the idea of real tile or stone, you can lightly sand your laminate and install ceramic or stone tiles. It’s not difficult and you can rent the tile saw to make any cuts. I did it in my bathroom with marble tile and it was beautiful! Everything you need is at your local home improvement center.

Add different items to it to bring new life with accessories. Sometimes a change in accessories is all you need to modernize your space and show off your style at this time of your life. It's not always painting or changing out both which are drastic.
Hi Delores! There are several ways to improve upon your laminate counter top. Rustoleum brand makes a product kit to use to "paint" over your laminate to change up the color and give it a granite look. It is available in several colors and can be found at any big-box home improvement store.
Some diy-ers have created their own faux look granite using regular paint and then sealing it well with a clear sealer. Decoupaging paper onto your counters is also an idea that some have used.
