How do you restore a yellowed white quartz countertop ?

my caesarstone white quartz countertop has yellowed after 6 years from the sunlight through my kitchen window , not due to poor maintenance . Does anyone have a solution as to how I can whiten and restore the quartz to its original white ?

I've read that his can happen. I would contact the company where you purchased it for their advice.

Thanks Ann . The problem is the company caesarstone has not been at all helpful despite the fact that the warranty for my countertop is still valid. Sigh

  Thanks Naomi ! This helped make up my mind about putting in a claim . Caesarstone has been defensive so I suspect the product composition is actually defective . The white laminate in my kitchen despite the sunlight is still Snow White but the quartz despite good maintenance using caesarstone cream Cleaners turned yellow .

  So welcome! It isn't a cheap product and they ought to stand behind their warranty / guarantee. It boils my blood when people don't do the right thing. Good luck! 🌞

yes it was not cheap . More expensive than granite . Thanks again for your kind encouragement .sadly there are few truly honourable businesses. I now intend to pursue this to the end .

Get ahold of consumer affairs in your state (In Oregon it is the attorney general I believe) and they can file or send a letter for you. Their letters usually get more response then a consumers. Shouldn't be that way but it is. Hope this works our for you.

  Thanks Mogie . I will refer the issue to CASE in spore as they investigate all consumer complaints . This is the last time I will purchase Caesar stone as I even contacted their HQ but to no avail . Their installer probably did not seal the stone properly to protect UV . They ofc deny this. I spent over $12000 just for the quartz countertop . For anyone who is looking for a countertop , Caesarstone may look pretty but it stains easily and worse is not durable against UV discolouring . There are so many other cultures quartz ie 95% quartz and 5 % polymer Brand’s who do a better job! Thank you Mogie once again .
