Ok the corner you choose is tricky because you have the base heating and that window, is there another corner to pick for a focal point if not here are some photos to help with you project💡😊☕️
Is the baseboard staying or going ? You might not use it much any more.
I reccomend taking some paper and taping it to the wall. Play around with it to see where you would want paint or tiles to go. Maybe on the lower level , under the window, from corner to corner of the tile that the wood stove is sitting on. You might want to hang a piece of artwork or an old mirror or something over the woodstove. Hang it from the ceiling so it is floating. Good Luck.
