How do I add storage to my garage ?
I have a cluttered single car garage that barely fits my car! There are bikes, winter tires, tools, recycling bins...a lot of stuff.
Thw walls and ceiling are unpainted so it’s a blank canvas!

Go vertical! Browse the home improvement stores for various organizational items that can be screwed into the studs for sturdy shelving and hanging hooks. There are some large hooks to hang bikes, hooks to hang sturdy baskets. Perhaps draw out a plan on paper and measure items you need to place on the walls so you do it one time....the right way! There items that have slots to hold any type of brooms, rakes, etc. Treat it like a puzzle and draw it all out before starting or buying anything.
The first thing that you really need to do is purge. Take EVERYTHING out and go through it - only keep what you really need. You may be able to sell some things to fund the shelving or storage for the garage! Good luck!!
