How do I get more organized storage out of a corner cabinet

Robin

The front is small and it widens in the back. I have to take everything out of the front to get to the items in the back. My kitchen is small and I need all the cabinet space I can get

I agree with Lorrainehandler. Definitely get a turntable or Lazy Susan for that area. That's what I have and it's a life-saver. :) Best of luck.

Lazy susans are difficult to install once the counter tops are attached to the cabinets. You can purchase smaller plastic ones to organize smaller items. Look at wire racks and accessories on line, maybe you can find something that will work.

Both are good ideas! Make sure you put lesser used items in the back if you don't use a turntable. You probably have other things in other cupboards that you don't use much that you could put in this cupboard and you could put the more used things in a more assessable cupboard. When the kitchen was redone at some point before we were in the house, they put in an area that was just counter top. In doing this, it left a lower cupboard underneath the counter in the corner. The only way to access the cupboard, you literally have to go under the counter. I only put seldom used things like extra baking pans, pie pans spring form pans, etc. in there and then I put potato chips and other sweets so that they are on the outside.

Mine's like that, too. I use small plastic containers. I have 1 long skinny one that I have all my spices in, so I can just slide the whole tray of them out to get to the back items, which are things I don't use very often.

I have same thing. I put double turntables in side corners. You can also use a wire corner dish shelf to fit in back. TJM, WalMart has them. I don't know what you keep in it or how big it is.
